Tedford & Henry's practice consists primarily of fire science litigation, with a natural extension of that practice being product liability defense litigation. While the practice area of fire science is relatively new, it is highly specialized and requires that attorneys have a certain expertise in the field.

The members of Tedford & Henry have spent years studying NFPA 921, the standard for fire investigations; associating with highly qualified cause and origin investigators; developing expert witnesses in the field; and litigating fire science and product liability cases through trial.
